Men and Women have different ways of speaking, but as you can see they both have different ways of taking things in. It seems as if anything that a men can tell to a girl while being in a relationship might encourage the other girl that he might be interested, and the girl friend might suggest as the boyfriend cheating.
Since when is it wrong to be friendly to a person, maybe when its the opposite sex, and maybe its not the word choice but how its being delivered. Men have long have had a history of being should I say sweet talkers, but why is it that they have long had this reputation. Maybe it was Don Juan and his poetic words and way of conveying women that they were truly and honestly beautiful.
So I ask myself when a woman talks to a man, the man doesnt see it as a flirtation right away but why si that women have deeper feelings when it comes to words? DO we really fit into the stereotype that we are such sweet things and gentle, that we let this get to our heads and let men be able to manipulate us? or is that we are just wak when it comes to words.These might be questions that I myself cant answer but does anyone have a thought in this or maybe some personal stories? I would love to get myself out of doubt.

Two men in one
It has taken me a while to write a blog or get this thing to work but now here it is and hopefully its posted up.
I have noticed that women and men have very different ways of socializing, at least thats what it seems. When I see how my friends talk to each other it kind of amuses me because you can tell without looking when a guy is talking to a girl because they are much more nicer with tme not becuase they are a gentle man at least thats what I think kbut maybe its because when women talk its always the same tone towards every one but when men talk it's different. Men in my opinion have two different voices 1. the one they use with men 2. the one that they use with women. The first one is much like themselves they dont have to act differently where as in with women men are always nicer and should always think about what they say.
It was kind of funny how i figured this out and Im sure that if you pay attetion you toko will see it. My guy friend was mad and he was jsut very moody, and when my guy friend asked what was wrong he said nothing really rudely , later when my girl friend asked what was wrong he said nothing but very nicely, I dont know if this has to do with the theory that girls are sweeter but its really creepy what kind of word choice guys choose to talk to girls not onloy what kind of word choice but how they use it. Its very intresting.

Rhetoric of Gender:Pathos
For many years people believe that women and men have different ways of speaking , and for this particular blog I will talk about the way they use their emotions when they want to talk about a particular subject. Take in consideration that no particular background or culture would be used for this comparison only the way they choose to speak.
For many years now women are seeing as more delicate and fragile than men, but let's put away the physical appearances. When women talk about a certain thing they tend to actually show "delicate and fragile" in example :
"oh dear!" or "darn" while men use stronger ones like "dammit" or "Oh shit!"

these words are used to show a certain emotion when one has to dscrib their emotions, woman show more tranquility while man show and aggressive and more violent reaction. Women are often seen as more imtellegent than men not only because its been scientifically proven but because it also has to do alot with the way they use pathos when talking to people, they dont only show that they are aware of what they are saying but they are more passive in the words they have chosen to say. It might becaus men are seying as "stronger" but women when trying to show their emotions to strangers persay use specialized vocabulary, where men dont do that they try to be more of speaking what they think. Women use pathos more in conversations than men in general.

First Blog
Hi, first blog! My other was an "About me Section" bummer, you would think that after having an online journal I would have an idea of how this whole thing works.... I am a person who is open to all kinds of music the oldest the music the better, the newest the music the most entertaining. I hate labeling myself as anything and I think my name is enough of a label. I love reading and writing, writing is the only way I feel I can warn people about things that are going around the world, in one perfect sentence. And you might all soon notice I HATE being confused, the ironic thing is I hate being told what to do but love being told exactly what to write
The topic I will be blogging about is the rhetoric of gender. When I saw this I knew certainly what my first blog would be about, equality and informative. When referring to this topic I'm going to try to add a lot of cultural beliefs on how a certain culture expects a woman to talk versus a man. As well, as to what society expects from the speech and language of a man versus a women. I chose this topic not because Im a feminist but certainly because there is a lot of discrimination put into women about the way they should present themselves into society and language is certainly something that everyone notices.
One of the goals that I have for this class is to be able to manage and sort out my thoughts into an essay.Sometimes I have so many good ideas that I just write them everywhere in my paper, in hope of not loosing a good point. I want to manage my ideas and express more of a fact in a paper than an opinion.I see writing as something fun and when Im given a topic that is not of my interest I tend to do my worst job. I never give my 100%, or so I 've been told by my teachers, because apparently I try to keep a tough look and "act stupid" so my goal for this class is to give it my 100% and show it as well.
